It’s been 5 years since I started Cryptocurrency trading,
I mean since it was introduced to me by a friend. I’m very skeptical just
hearing the word Crypto – I really thought it's another part of the PONZI scheme or another
form of an Internet scam or whatsoever. <o:p></o:p>

To cut the story short, I made thorough market
research since it was introduced to me in 2016, but I never actually invested that
much until the later part of 2020. Since the pandemic hit, the Crypto world is
making a Buzz again but this year is quite different, public is now becoming more
aware than ever of how much profit they are getting from Cryptocurrency trading and
mining alike. Like there’s even a shortage of Mining GPUs all over the world
right now as I write. <o:p></o:p>

If you are to ask me right now, is it worth gambling
your savings to Crypto?  It’s a YES for
me! But be very careful as the stake is so high so is the RISK! <o:p></o:p>

There are actually two ways to earn Crypto, through
Cryptocurrency trading and Mining – if it’s not mentioned then it's maybe a scam,
so BEWARE. However, let’s just focus on how to make a lot of money in
Cryptocurrency trading, I will release a separate article for Crypto Mining. <o:p></o:p>

Actually, there’s a lot of articles out there explaining
you all about this, but one thing is common they are missing a very important
and crucial part, they failed to explain in layman’s term all the JARGONS and
technical terms used in Crypto world. <o:p></o:p>

In Layman’s Term – Cryptocurrency Trading<o:p></o:p>

Cryptocurrency
–
or people call it “Crypto” in short. It’s a digital asset or digital money with
no actual cash; however, you can exchange it for goods & services.  Still, confused?<o:p></o:p>

Just like when you are playing arcade in malls or
playing cards in casinos, arcade uses tokens while casino uses chips. You’ll
need to exchange real money for tokens or chips to play arcade or in the casino,
same thing goes with Crypto it's an online medium to access the good or services
on the internet. In short, cryptocurrency is the most popular currency used on
the internet. <o:p></o:p>

But how to get hold of Crypto? You’ll either exchange
your real money for crypto OR through crypto mining.  <o:p></o:p>

Cryptocurrency
Trading – I bet
a lot of newbies are not familiar of
this term, even when I start hearing this word way back in 2016 I already taught it’s
a SCAM. A very organized scam on the internet. Well, you can’t blame me because
PONZI scheme is very popular even today. <o:p></o:p>

Cryptocurrency trading is more like you are trading
stocks but this time you will use Crypto to trade. Trade means it’s a basic economic concept involving the buying and selling of
goods and services or the exchange of goods or services between parties. In
short, you just need to buy LOW and SELL high as simple as that.<o:p></o:p>

Trading
Platform – the place where you can trade your
Crypto. There are a lot of trading platforms you can choose from, each with its
advantages and drawbacks. <a href="file:///C:/Users/Administrator/Documents/JOE_ESPA_ARTICLES/coinbase.com/join/villar_0iz?src=android-link">Coinbase</a> for example,
as we all know one of the best Crypto trading platforms and <a href="https://accounts.binance.cc/en/register?ref=71224387">Binance</a> which I’m
currently using right now to trade Crypto. As I said, they're a lot of trading platforms
out there but these two proves to be the BEST and most convenient so far. <o:p></o:p>

I guess we are all set, we will now start trading and make a lot of

Getting Started With
Cryptocurrency Trading – Newbies Guide<o:p></o:p>

Of course, we need to create an account to start trading, and we’ll
choose <a href="https://accounts.binance.cc/en/register?ref=71224387">Binance</a>
as our trading platform which by the way one of the best Cryptocurrency Trading
platforms.  <o:p></o:p>

Step 1 <o:p></o:p>

– Register an account with <a href="https://accounts.binance.cc/en/register?ref=71224387">Binance</a>. <a href="https://accounts.binance.cc/en/register?ref=71224387">Click here</a>.<o:p></o:p>

-      Fill in the
necessary information and check the verification code sent through email or
your registered phone number.<o:p></o:p>

-      You’ll be asked to
verify your phone number for account security which you should.

-      Identity
verification – you’ll need to submit ID documents to verify your identity. Go to
settings – Click Basic Info – under Identity verification click VERIFY.<o:p></o:p>

-      Please download
Binance APP for a more convenient way to trade. <a href="https://www.binance.com/en/download">Click here</a>.

Now, all we need to do is deposit money or add crypto to your account.
Based on experience the best way to add crypto to your account is by using P2P
Trading feature.<o:p></o:p>

What is P2P Trading? It is one of the best features of Binance wherein
crypto Traders meet in a very organized platform, where they can buy and sell
crypto with a ZERO transaction fee. However, crypto traders may add a very
minimal interest on top of the current market value.  <o:p></o:p>

One of the advantages of P2P Trading which I personally like, it offers

-      Choose the LOWEST price
in the market, I prefer to buy USDT because it’s the most stable coin and you can

-      Assuming
that you have chosen the right merchant to buy your first crypto, you’ll need
to pay the merchant first before clicking on the “Transferred NEXT” button
based on Binance terms & conditions.  Don’t worry it's totally safe in P2P trading, so
far I never encountered a scam in P2P trading because everything here is
verified.  If you have hesitation, you
may contact the merchant first using the CHAT option on the upper right corner
of the APP which I always do every time I use P2P trading. <o:p></o:p>

them think the same, it was widely accepted like that. But, today, we hope
these things are clear, since the coins are Ethers (ETH), and the A blockchain-like network is named Ethereum.<o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>The Real Cost of Ethereum Mining

Anyone
can mine Ethereum, you can even use your regular gaming computer; however, to
make it as efficient as possible, you can build a unit that’s the only purpose
is to mine Ethereum.<o:p></o:p>

To give you the
detailed information on how expensive Ethereum Mining is, let’s start at the beginning:  Let’s construct a hypothetical mining rig, plug
in some mining GPUs that work best for Ethereum and come up with a pragmatic
analysis of how much you can earn through Ethereum mining.

The Cost of Building an
Ethereum RIG<o:p></o:p>

GPU
(Graphics Processing Unit) or also known as Video cards, Graphics card, etc. is
the most important component in building a profitable Ethereum Mining Rig.
 GPUs give high-end gaming computers the capability of running the
spectacular graphics of modern PC games. They’re also great for making as many
guesses at the hashes of Ethereum blocks in a short time as possible.<o:p></o:p>

To
have a proficient Ethereum rig you must have at least two GPUs to mine
Ethereum; however, you can plug as many as you can as long your Motherboard is
capable of handling it. The more GPUs you have, the higher the electricity cost
will be, good for you if you belong to the countries that have the lowest
electricity cost. <o:p></o:p>

There’s
a lot of GPUs that work perfectly with Ethereum. However, I particularly
recommend one of these GPUs for your Ethereum Mining Rig.<o:p></o:p>

When
it comes to the prices for these GPUs, I recommend Amazon if you want to buy brand new items or eBay if you want the used ones. However, to tell you frankly
these mining GPUs are overpriced right now because of the demand. Even the used
GPUs now cost more than the retail price of brand new GPUs way back in 2020. <o:p></o:p>

Warning:
Beware of online scammers offering lower prices of these mining GPUs. There’s a
lot in eBay be very careful. We don’t want your money to go to waste. <o:p></o:p>

on the table above, our hypothetical mining rig is more efficient and
profitable than some of the best mining equipment on the market right now. We
are assuming that four GPUs will mine 40 MH/s each. The hardware specs are four
GPUs, plus a processor, a motherboard, and a power supply rated at 1,000 Watts
of electricity. The cost of this rig would be approximately $3,000.<o:p></o:p>

<o:p> </o:p>Running Cost Ethereum Mining

In
mining, Electricity is everything, I mean the lower the cost of your
electricity the higher your profit will be. Based on the data we have gathered,
the average price paid per kilowatt-hour (KWh) for Bitcoin miners is estimated
at about 5 cents per KWh, while Ethereum miners are assumed to be paying 10
cents per KWh on average. This is due to the fact that Ethereum runs Ethash, an
“ASIC-resistant” proof-of-work algorithm. Application-specific integrated circuits
(ASICs) led to the industrialization of Bitcoin mining, while Ethereum mining
is done with Graphics processing units (GPUs) found in every home computer.<o:p></o:p>

However,
Ethereum promised to change its proof-of-work algorithm to an energy-efficient
proof-of-stake algorithm called Casper for sustainability.

What we learn so far<o:p></o:p>

Mining
Ethereum can be very expensive but surely rewarding. As the saying goes from
Crypto Miners, “Mine and Hold” baby.  <o:p></o:p>

It’s
also not worth buying second-hand GPUs for your mining rig. They might save you
a little money upfront but they’re unlikely to run as efficiently as new ones
and their life expectancy will be much lower!<o:p></o:p>

When
it comes to making a profit, many people choose to trade Ethereum.
If that's what you decide to do, then go for Coinbase, Binance, or Coinmama. These cryptocurrency
exchanges are among the most reliable ones. <o:p></o:p>

As
we move into a world with more decentralized services that pay in Ethereum
directly, or services that pay in other crypto-assets, mining may become less
favorable due to the large depreciating investment in hardware.<o:p></o:p>

thoughts about Ethereum surpassing Bitcoin in the future?<o:p></o:p>

Indeed, a very tricky question; however, there is a huge possibility just by
looking into the current trends. As discussed in my previous article “Why
should you invest in Ethereum” I clearly highlighted the rapid growth of
Ethereum for the span of 4 months.<o:p></o:p>

The value of 1 Ether (ETH) last December 2020 was just $746.06, comparing it
to today’s current value which is $2,127.38 USD and still soaring, it has an
increase of 286% in just 4 months.<o:p></o:p>

Before we take a closer look into the vulnerability of both Ethereum and
Bitcoin we should examine first the strength Ethereum has in the crypto world.<o:p></o:p>

Looking Into a Big Picture of a
Volatile Ethereum<o:p></o:p>

Popularity - The main goal is to be popular like what
Bitcoin did. The coin itself should be appealing to the Investors; otherwise,
it won’t reach its goal to surpass Bitcoin.<o:p></o:p>

According to some reports, Ethereum is the most-watched cryptocurrency on
YouTube gaining around 231 Million views ever more than Bitcoin.<o:p></o:p>

Many YouTubers were a bit sensational and over-hyped about Ethereum making
its growth phenomenal as it enters 2021.<o:p></o:p>

In contrast, Bitcoin has a little under 200 million views. Other top-ranking
cryptos like LINK, Cardano, and Ripple achieved 45 million, 43 million, and 38
million views respectively.<o:p></o:p>

In a recent interview with Fintech Today, Watkins said that the shift
towards Ethereum 2.0 would bring about some changes in the coin’s monetary
policy, which could lead to Ether (ETH) taking over as the leading

“I think that the shift to Ethereum 2.0 and proof of stake, which is
kind of like a new way of securing the Ethereum blockchain...Ethereum may
actually, be more secure than Bitcoin”, he said.<o:p></o:p>

The Biggest Treat <o:p></o:p>

As we all know, in layman’s terms there’s a lot of things Ethereum can do
that Bitcoin can't, simple as that.<o:p></o:p>

Ethereum is a huge computing network that enables anybody to build a
decentralized application.  A business, if it decided that it needed a
blockchain-developed solution, could employ a programmer to build that on the
Ethereum platform. While Ether (ETH) is simply a product of Ethereum which is
capable of performing the same function as Bitcoin<o:p></o:p>

As we have heard and seen, governments are beginning to put
restrictions on cryptocurrencies, concerned that their citizens are speculating
on something which their governments perceive they do not understand. While
this could impact Ether & Bitcoin; however, Ethereum wouldn’t be affected.
If governments put restrictions on cryptocurrencies including Ether, businesses
will still be able to use the Ethereum platform for things such as payment
services, which banks and many other entities are doing already.<o:p></o:p>

So if the government will continue to put restrictions on the market and
becomes ugly in the future, Ethereum will definitely survive while other
cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin will crash into despair.<o:p></o:p>

With the continuing creep of government regulation and the ongoing tag of
financial crime driving market behaviors. The biggest threat to Bitcoin remains
Bitcoin itself.  Ether has the advantage
of being associated with Ethereum, and Ethereum does what Bitcoin cannot do,
and came to be because of the limitations and single function of Bitcoin.<o:p></o:p>

The Upcoming is Yet To Be Revealed<o:p></o:p>

Despite this, while Ether is clearly a competitor to Bitcoin, bearing in
mind that the combined market capitalization of both is way south of the market
capitalization of some of the world’s biggest companies, there is room for both
at present, and for now, Ethereum won’t “overtake” Bitcoin.<o:p></o:p>

in a massive cryptocurrency market.<o:p></o:p>

The strong foundation helps Ethereum
quickly recovered from its downfall.  As
part of damage control, Ethereum community decided to roll back successfully its
blockchain to undo the damage. It regained its number 2 position by 2018.<o:p></o:p>

In 2018 there were three concepts
made in efforts to establish a strong future for Ethereum.<o:p></o:p>

the three concepts were – the difficulty
bomb, ether issuance, and ASIC resistance – since each could
have a lasting impact on how the blockchain operates. For instance, these code
proposals could alter the regularity of Ethereum upgrades, change the network’s
economic policy and prevent specialized hardware from mining on the blockchain.<o:p></o:p>

As Ethereum enters the middle age of
its evolution, the year 2019, a pivotal period for Ethereum in terms of
development achievements. At the same time the growing popularity of its
market-reigning decentralized applications, or ĐApps.<o:p></o:p>

In the later part of 2020, a change
that will totally affect Ethereum’s growth, the highly-anticipated rollout of
Ethereum 2.0.<o:p></o:p>

The first phase of the planned
upgrade will allow Ether holders to stake ETH, the enactment of Ethereum’s
shift to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus. By securing ETH in the blockchain in
exchange for block reward payments, ETH stakers can benefit through the annual

a platform that acts more than a coin; it’s more like a contract than a

Secondly, the speed of transactions,
while rival bitcoin takes about 15 minutes to complete a transaction,
Ethereum will do the same in under 15 seconds.<o:p></o:p>

Finally, unlimited supply chain -
theoretically, unlike bitcoin’s 21-million-coin cap. That means Ethereum won’t
run into a mining “wall” and run out of coins to reward miners.<o:p></o:p>

The present of Ethereum, the year
2021, year of blockchain and crypto alike. However, like other
cryptocurrencies, Ethereum is as volatile as a moody teenager. Make no mistake.
 <o:p></o:p>

Ethereum also tried to magnify stock
market gains. Gaining more fiscal stimulus on the way also means higher
stock valuations. Cryptocurrencies will naturally follow.<o:p></o:p>

As of April 2021, the value of 1
Ether (ETH) is $2,127.38 USD and still soaring, it has an increase of 286% in
just 4 months.<o:p></o:p>

The sky is now the limit it seems as
Ethereum has already claimed a new all-time high in 2021. There is still a risk
of a double top pattern if a severe correction happens at current levels, but a
breakout higher is due any day.<o:p></o:p>

After setting all-time high records,
Analysts are expecting Ethereum price to double now; however, the height of the
previous base structure is targeting a 1300% rise from the point of breakout.
That would take Ethereum's price to as high as $22,000 per ETH.<o:p></o:p>

Continuing the roadmap the fractal
presents would take Ethereum to another bear market come 2023 and begin to
break out starting in 2025 into a new bull market once again; however,
following along with Bitcoin’s trajectory isn’t all positive for Ethereum.<o:p></o:p>

In short, don’t miss this boat. If
the broader cryptocurrency market has a good 2021, you can be sure that
ethereum will have an even better one.<o:p></o:p>

We should never forget that Ethereum
predictions are like any other’s opinion that is yet to happen.<o:p></o:p>

To sum it all, the Ethereum
blockchain is a very good project that will continue to dominate the smart
contract sector as progress continues to swipe the market. Indeed, 2021 will be
a very interesting year, so I would advise you to keep checking for Ethereum
news updates on their development progress.<o:p></o:p>
